2 c finely chopped fresh or frozen rhubarb
2 c finely chopped onion
2½ c packed brown sugar
1 c vinegar
1 t salt
½ t ground cinnamon
½ t ground allspice
¼ t ground cloves
¼ t pepper

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine all ingredients. Cook over medium heat for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occassionally. Cool and store in refrigerator. Makes 3⅓ cups
