Combine:
2 egg whites
2 T. water
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 t. cream of tartar
1/3 cup corn syrup
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
Cook in double boiler, beating with mixer until mixture stands in peaks. Remove from heat. Add 1 t. vanilla. Continue beating until thick enough to spread. Gently fold in 2 T. chocolate chips.
