Directions:
Add 1 cup of sugar to a small glass jar, then add in the additional ingredients and shake ( let sit at least 24 hours before using)

Over time the ingredients will release their essence into the sugar and give it a fantastic scent and flavor.

It’s best to mix your Flavored Sugar Recipes several days in advance. However, if you are in a pinch, one day ahead will work.

You can use any type of sugar you like- granulated, raw, palm sugar, date sugar, turbinado sugar, yet the course varieties work best with wet ingredients.

*** When adding wet ingredients, shake thoroughly to mix, then air dry and shake again to break up any clumps before jarring-

These sugars are fantastic for a multitude of uses. flavored sugar is usually meant to be a garnish on baked goods (sprinkles!) or as flavoring in hot beverages but the possibilities are endless.

Sprinkle your sugar on shortbread or oatmeal cookies, use it for an uptown version of cinnamon toast, or keep stirring it into your tea/coffee. Its great for dipping fresh fruits in for an added splash of flavor, or add it to your salad or in your Vinaigrette dressings for a fresh twist on an old favorite.

Be creative!!
