1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 egg yolks
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
egg whites for dipping
ground walnut meats
jelly

Directions:
Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and make small balls of dough. Dip in egg whites. Dip again in ground walnut meats and flatten out (small cookies) While cookies are baking, lightly touch the top of cookies to make a dent for jelly. Bake at 375 for (check on time)

Pauline Klym and Mom worked at Babcock's together. They became friends with each other again towards the end of Mom's life. We went over to St. Johns church and bought cookies at their festivals. Her nephew married Beth Moore, so there was another connection there.
