3 avocados - peeled, pitted, and mashed (keep 1 pit)
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup diced onion
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
2 tomatoes, diced (Roma)
1 jalapeņo, diced (remove seeds)
1 tsp. garlic, minced (optional)
dash Tabasco

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, mash together the avocados (leaving somewhat chunky), lime juice and salt. Mix in onion, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapeņo, garlic and Tabasco. Place avocado pit on top and refrigerate 1 hour for best flavour.

Tips:
To rippen avocado quicker, place in brown paper bag.
To cut onion harshness rinse with water after being diced.

Grandma never had a recipe, this is just what I observed over the years. The hardest part is picking out the right avocados. Not too hard and not too soft.
