1 cup raisins, soaked in 1/3 cup dark rum for one hour
1 cup butter at room temperature
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1½ tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2½ cups quick oats
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
Stir in flour, oats, salt and baking soda.
When well mixed, stir in chocolate chips, nuts and raisins.
Stir from the bottom of the bowl until combined.
Drop by teaspoon onto a welll-buttered cookie sheet.
Bake 8-10 minutes until golden. Cool on wire rack.
