1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chopped dates
2¼ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
Crushed corn flakes
40 maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, milk, vanilla, nuts and dates.
Whisk together dry ingredients and add to mixture.
Form balls the size of a walnut.
Roll in crushed corn flakes.
Push 1/2 Maraschino cherry into center of each ball.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 375º.
