½ c. butter
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, vanilla. Add salt, baking soda and powder to flour. Add alternately with sour cream to butter mixture.. Bake on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Flatten with bottom of a glass.

*Optional, for chocolate sugar cookie, add 2 squars melted chocolate, before adding flour.
