1/4 c warm water
1 c milk scalded
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp shortening

1 c water

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in water. (it's ready when it bubbles) Add 1 tsp sugar. Combine milk, shortening, salt, sugar and heat on stove top. Cool to luke warm. Add 1 cup of flour and beat well. Beat in yeast and egg. Gradually add rest of flour to form soft dough beating well. cover and let rise in a warm place until dough doubles in size. Make "sticky stuff" by combing ingredients in a saucepan and cook until it begins to thicken. Pour into a greased rectangular pan. Turn 1/2 of the dough on a lightly floured surface. roll out into 16x8 rectangle. Butter dough and then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up and slice and let rise again (covered) over the sticky stuff. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes then check. Will probably have to back for another 10-15 minutes.
