1 pkg of frozen Cavendish hash browns (or whatever product the same)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
green onions
red & green peppers
shredded cheddar cheese
Ranch dressing ( 2-3 good squirts)
Paprika
1 can of pieces and stems mushrooms ( or fresh)
I sometimes buy a slice of ham at the deli and have it cut thick enough to cut into cubes

Mix canned soup with ranch dressing and set aside.

In a large bowl mix potatoes, chopped onions, peppers, cheese and mushrooms, cubed ham.
Pour soup mixture into potatoes mixture add salt and pepper to taste and toss until all potatoes are covered and moist.

Pour potatoes into a well greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with paprika on top and cover and bake at 300 for 1-1 1/4 hours.
Remove and uncover and bake for maybe another 10 minutes.
