½ lb butter (only use butter)
½ c packed brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c flour
2 tbsp milk
poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk, then work in flour gradually.
2. Place mixture on an 11"x16" jelly roll pan, leaving a small margin for the mixture to spread.
3. Brush top with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
4. Bake at 350º F for 15 min. Cut while warm.
