1 t vanilla
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour

For Topping:
1 package milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
chopped nuts (if desired)
Directions:
Directions:
Mix and spread in 13x9 cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Melt a package of chocolate chips and spread on top. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
Cool and cut.
