3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
2 eggs
1 pinch salt
2 cups milk
1 cup (1/2 pint) heavy cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, flour, eggs, and salt. Scald (do not bring to a boil) 2 cups of milk, then slowly add to mixture. Cook over a double boiler until thick as pudding, constantly stirring to keep smooth. Let cool; refrigerate. Fold in 1 cup heavy cream and 1 tsp. vanilla.
