1 cup butter
1 egg well beaten
1 ½ cups sifted flour
1 cup shredded coconut
½ tsp baking soda
1 ½ cups rolled oats
½ tsp salt
2 tsps baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Add sugar, then beaten egg. Sift together flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder. Gradually blend into first mixture. Stir in rolled oats and coconuts. Mix dough. Form into small balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 10 - 12 minutes.
