1 cup oleo
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cups mashed bananas
2 T. lemon juice
3 1/2 cups flour
2 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
2 cups cut up dates
2 cups nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and sugar. Add bananas and lemon juice. Stir in sifted dry ingredients, dates and nuts. Pour mixture into two wax paper lined bread tins. Bake at 325º for 60 minutes.
