2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. pork roast, cut into ½" cubes
4 Granny Smith or other tart cooking apples, cored and cut into ½" wedges
1 c. white wine or chicken broth, divided
½ c. packed brown sugar
¼ c. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Add pork and brown on all sides. Add apple slices and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 1½ c. of wine/broth. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix the remaining ½ c. wine/broth with remaining ingredients and add to skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.

Serve over hot noodles or rice.
