3 cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
6 eggs, beaten
6 cups flour
3 T. baking soda
11/2 t. salt
3/4 cup walnuts
9 bananas, mashed
9 T. sour milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and bananas. Sift dry ingredients and add to above. Add sour milk and nuts. Grease and flour 3 9x5 bread pans ( do not fill over halfway). Bake at 325º for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

A half batch will make 2 8x4 pans.
