2 sticks butter, softened
½ cup sugar
2 ¼ flour
¼ t. salt
1 t. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Shape dough into half-dollar sized balls. Flatten with a flat-bottomed glass dipped in sugar.
I use green and red sugar and top with a pecan half.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes-slightly brown.

Spray bottom of glass w/non-stick spray.
