Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup ground pecans
2 cups flour

Preheat oven 325
Bake 20-25 minutes

Cream shortening and sugar until creamy. Add remaining ingredients. Make one inch balls and place on greased cookie sheet and bake. Roll in confectionary sugar while warm.

This recipe was given to by Mary she was a very sweet lady that allowed us to stay with her while we were looking for a home to buy. I only wish I had all her recipes. She was a great cook and friend.
