2 pds round steak cut in 1/2 inch cubes
3 tbsp. salad oil
1 1/2 C chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced or mashed
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 C celery
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 cab (3 or 4 oz) sliced mushrooms NOT DRAINED
1 C (1/2 pt) sour cream
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp. worcestershire

Directions:
Directions:
In a large frying pan, brown meat well in salad oil.
Add onion and garlic; cook until limp, but not brown.
Stir in flour, add celery, tomato sauce, mushroom with liquids, and sour cream, salt pepper, and Worcestershire. Mix thoroughly.
Turn into greased 2 quart casserole dish.
Bake uncovered in a slow oven (300 degrees) for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.

I serve over rice but use noodles if preferred.
