6 eggs, separated (omit the egg whites, if desired)
3/4 cup sugar
1 pint whipping cream
1 pint bourbon
1 oz. rum
1 pint milk
nutmeg (for sprinkling)

Directions:
Set out 3 mixing bowls. In the largest bowl beat yolks until thick and lemon-colored. Add 1/2 cup sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved.

In second bowl, beat the egg whites and 1/4 cup sugar until stiff, but not dry.

In third bowl, whip cream until peaks form. Pour small quantity of bourbon over yolks, stirring constantly. Add whites, a small amount at a time. Stir in cream, rum and remaining bourbon. Pour in milk and stir gently. Chill 1 hour. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
