8 eggs
sugar to taste
2 quarts half & half cream
2 cups dark Jamaican rum
1 cup brandy
1 quart vanilla ice cream
nutmeg (to sprinkle)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate egg into 2 bowls and beat each. Add 1/2 cup of sugar to the yolks. Then add half and half to
yolk mixture and mix well. Add rum and brandy very slowly and mix gently as you do this, so eggs do not curdle. Add the ice cream. Mix. Correct sweetness. (It's wise to use 1 cup of rum at first and add the 2nd cup only after tasting).

Fold in the beaten egg whites and refrigerate. Serve cold with nutmeg sprinkled on top.
