Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
These cookies are a Hedtke Family favorite. Mama Hedtke made them around Christmas-time every year, and many other times throughout the year just because. Though the real name for them is Peanut Butter Blossoms, we have always known them as "Chocolate Star Cookies."

The chocolate stars were usually bought at Mills Fleet Farm.

When rolling the dough balls in sugar, the sugar was ALWAYS in a pink plastic bowl. It often sat on the counter for weeks as mom never wanted to throw out the excess sugar - that, and she was sure to make another batch soon!
