5 Tablespoons cake flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons butter
grated rind of 1 orange and 1 lemon
Juice of one lemon
½ cup fresh orange juice
¼ cup water
1 egg slightly beaten
1 angel food round cake
½ pint whipped cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cook first eight ingredients for 10 minutes in a double boiler. Cool and let stand overnight in the refrigerator. Add ½ pint whipped cream to lemon filling. Slice the angel food cake in the middle. Put frosting in center, then put the top back on and frost the entire cake.
