1 pkg. Near East Wild Rice
1 c. chicken broth
10 oz. package frozen French-style green beans, thawed and drained
2 c. chopped cooked chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
½ c. mayonnaise
8 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
1 small can Durkee french-fried onions (or about 2 handfuls)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium-sized saucepan, prepare wild rice mixture according to package directions, substituting 1 cup chicken broth for 1 cup of the required amount of water.
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except french-fried onions. Pour mixture into a lightly buttered 12” x 8” baking dish. Sprinkle onions on top and bake 45 minutes, until hot and bubbly.

A real old-fashioned casserole, you can substitute a homemade roux for the canned soup to make it a little more healthy. A HUGE family favorite in our house--never any leftovers!
