Fresh green beans
water
salt

Directions:
Directions:
Soak green beans in cold water for 1 hour
Break off all ends and cut green beans to desired length or leave whole
Place green beans in heavy duty pan, cover with water, once water boils set timer for 5 minutes.
Remove from stove and carefully pack into prepared pint or quart jars.
Add 1/4 tsp salt per pint
Add 1/2 tsp salt per quart
Cover with hot water to within 1/2 of top
Apply lids and rings

Water canner process once boiling starts:
Pints: 45 minutes
Quarts: 55 minutes

Carefully remove with canner tongs and place on dish towel to cool.
