1¼ C. Sugar
3 tbsp. Flour
3 tbsp. Cocoa
Vanilla to taste
3/4 Stick Butter or Margarine
2 Eggs Yokes
2 C. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, and cocoa. In skillet, melt butter. Add the sugar mixture.

Separately, beat egg yokes, then add in milk and continue to beat together. Add the milk and egg mixture little at a time to the skillet mixture.

Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick. Add vanilla. Pour into a baked pie shell. Top with meringue.
 

MERINGUE

3 Eggs Whites
1/4 C. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Cream of Tartar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add sugar gradually while beating. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff peaks form.

Top pie with the meringue, sealing the edges. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes or until peaks are brown.
