1 onion (cut very fine)
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. salt

Directions:
First, make the sauce. Add the tomato sauce, water, bay leaves, mushrooms, lemon juice, brown sugar and peppercorns to a pot. Mix well and let it come to a boil. In the meantime, mix together the ground beef, onions, eggs, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. When the sauce comes to a boil, make tiny bite size meatballs and drop them into the boiling sauce. Cook the meatballs for 30 minutes on medium high heat. Makes about 75 tiny meatballs. The recipe can be easily doubled and freezes well.
