1 pkg. yeast
6 cups flour
2 1/2 cups water
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle yeast over the flour. Put water, sugar, salt and shortening in pan. Heat until warm. Add to flour; mix well, kneading is not necessary. Let rise 30 minutes.

Grease hands and a small work area. Place a ball of dough (about the size of a large egg) on the greased area. Pat and stretch to make a 10 inch circle. Fry in hot grease until brown, turn and brown other side. Drain on paper towels and serve hot. Just wonderful with honey!
