1 3-4 lb. rack baby back ribs, back skin removed
Salt and Pepper
1 T. oil
2 T. packed dark brown sugar
1 T. chipotle chile powder
1 T. ground cumin
1 T. dried oregano
3/4 c. chipotle barbecue sauce
3/4 c. agave nectar or honey

Preheat oven to 250º

Season ribs with salt and pepper, then brush with oil. Combine all seasonings. Sprinkle and rub into ribs. place in pan and cover tightly with foil. Cook for 3-4 hours, till tender.

Whisk together barbecue sauce and agave. Brush both sides with half of the sauce and grill till glaze is bubbling and browned 3-5 minutes. Serve with remaining barbecue sauce.

You can also cook on low in a crock pot for 7.5 hours. I let my ribs cool down after taking them from the oven, turn bone side up, brush with sauce and slice into servings. Turn over and put them in a large bowl and brush the other side with sauce, and grill.
