Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 cups green peas (Fresh or Frozen)
1 tsp oil
Salt to taste
1 tsp paprika

Directions:
Directions:
1. Thaw the frozen peas and let them rest on paper towels for about 10-15 min.
2. If you are using fresh peas, add them in boiling water for about 2-3 min. Drain and immerse in cold water (to maintain in color). Continue with step 1 b placing them on paper towels.
3. Mix them with oil, salt and paprika. You will need only a small quantity of salt. Adding more will make them very salty when baked.
4. Place them on a baking sheet lined with foil (just makes it easier to clean up). Ensure that you are crowding the baking sheet. Maintain a single layer of spread.
5. Bake them for about 40-45 min in a pre-heated oven at 350°F (180°C).
6. Check on the peas every 10 min and give them a shake so that they all get roasted evenly.
7. Each oven is different. You might need to bake for longer or shorter time period depending on it.
After 30 min, take one pea out. Cool it off and check if it has turned crunchy.
8. Keep a watch once you think they are almost done (but you are pushing boundaries to add just a little more crunch), they will burn in a flash.
9. Once you are satisfied with the result, take them out of the oven. Cool them in air tight container and munch away!
