Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
Mix these three ingredients in a bowl:
1 cup of Butter (or I use 3/4 cup of canola oil or similar)
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
2 eggs (can use egg beaters)


Mix the following together in another bowl:
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup flour. (Can use 1/2 whole wheat and 1/2 white flour or all white flour)
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

May make plain or add any one or combination of the following: raisins, chocolate chips, M&M's, coconut or nuts

Mix the first 3 ingredients together in one bowl. Then mix then next 4 ingredients in a separate bowl. Then mix both bowls together. At this point add any additional items like raisins or M&M's etc.

Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 10 minutes
