For Ham:
Large semi boneless ham

2 cups brown sugar

1 jar ham glaze

1 can any flavor soda pop (not diet pop)
Example: (Coke, Pepsi, Red Mountain Dew, Orange Crush)

For ham gravy:

When ham is done baking remove from roasting pan. Pour all drippings into a heavy-duty saucepan. ADD 1 cup water and bring to a boil. In a small bowl mix cornstarch and water to make a thick paste (enough to make about 1/2 cup) Slowly pour cornstarch into drippings mixture stirring until desired Gravy consistency is reached

Preheat oven to 275 degrees

Place ham in large roasting pan

In a bowl add brown sugar, ham glaze and 1/2 can of soda pop, mix carefully as mixture will bubble and foam

Take remaining soda pop in can and pour over entire ham

Slowly pour sugar mixture over ham

Cover tightly with aluminum foil

Bake 3-4 hours

I have to say that my ham and ham gravy recipes are a huge hit with my kids Shawnee, Leroy and Robert, my sister Janice and my cousin Debi. They all say they could drink the gravy. I am so happy that this dish is a big crowd pleaser.
