Basic Recipe: Vanilla

9 eggs, beaten until very thick, with mixer
1 Tbsp. salt
3 c. sugar

2 (13 oz.) cans pet evaporated milk
2 pt. half & half
3 Tbsp. vanilla extract



Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs; add salt and sugar. Beat until not grainy. Add other ingredients and mix well. Pour into 1/2 gallon freezer can and freeze as for ice cream.

Chocolate:

Mix together in cooking pan:
2 c. sugar
1 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water

Stir and boil 1 minute. Let cool and add to basic vanilla recipe. Freeze.

Black Walnut: Add 4 cups finely chopped black wlanuts and 1 t. black walnut extract to basic recipe.

Strawberry: Try Thelma Vogelman's recipe. It's delicious!
