Directions:
Mix together thoroughly 1/3 cup soft shortening, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Stir in alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin tins 1/2 full. Bake at 350º for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Immediately roll in 6 tablespoons melted butter, then in a mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. This is a small recipe. I usually make it 4 times as much! Guess who are pigs?
