2 cups oatmeal
1 ½ cups flour
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
½ cup butter
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Rub the butter into the above seven ingredients (remaining 7) to make a fine crumbs then add ¾ cup sour cream. Chill and roll. Cut into round shapes, or shapes as desired. Bake at 375 - 400º F. (depending on your oven.) I put these together with date filling.

Date Filling:
½ lb. dates, cut up
1 cup water

Boil slowly, until tender, then add:
½ cup brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Put between cookies, to make a "sandwich".

Hint: If grease has clogged your drain, pour a cup of salt into the drain. Follow this with one cup of baking soda, then boiling water.
