2 sticks melted butter or margarine
2 cups buttermilk (or 2 cups milk w/ 2 t. vinegar)
1-1/4 cups cornmeal
2-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar, butter milk, eggs & salt.
Add other ingredients.
Pour into 9x13 ungreased baking dish.
Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes.
