1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter or oleo
2 T water

1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup oleo or butter
1 tsp almond or vanilla flavoring
1 cup flour
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Mix 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup butter. Sprinkle on 2 T water. Mix with fork. Round into ball. Divide in half. Roll into two strips. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bring 1 cup boiling water and 1/2 cup butter to a rolling boil, remove from burner. Add almond or vanilla flavoring. Stir in one cup of flour. Beat until smooth and thick. Add eggs one at a time. Beat until smooth. Divide mixture. Put half on each strip.

Bake 60 minutes until nicely browned. Turn oven off and leave puffs in oven 10 minutes more.

Frost with powdered sugar frosting. Sprinkle with nuts.
