1 cup water
2 cup raisins
4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp soda
2 tsp salt
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp allspice
1 cup oleo
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 400º

Bring to boil raisins and water, simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside.

Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice together. Set aside.

In large bowl, cream together oleo, sugar. Beat in well eggs, vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and raisin mixture. Add nuts.

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes.
