4 C. Strawberries (full qt, washed)
4 C. Sugar
1 pkg. Sure Jell Fruit Pectin
¾ C . Water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Remove and discard stems.
2. Mash berries to make 2 cups. (I use a potato masher.)
3. Add sugar (no substitutions) to fruit. Let stand 10 minutes, stir occasionally.
4. In a sauce pan stir in Sure Jell and ¾ C water, bring to a boil, boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
5. Remove from heat.
6. Add pectin to fruit, stir 3 minutes (not less)
7. Fill containers immediately, leaving ½" space at the top for expansion in freezing.
8. Cover with lids, date & mark.
9. Let stand at room temperature 24 hours or until set.

Freeze up to 1 year. Refrigerate up to 3 weeks.
