Ingredients: Original Recipe
Crust:
⅓ lb. Graham Crackers ¼ lb Butter ½ C. Powdered Sugar
Roll crackers into fine crumbs, melt butter mix these ingredients with sugar. Press crust mixture into an oblong glass dish.
Filling:
8 oz. Cream Cheese Softened 2 pkg. Dream Whip ¼ C. Powdered Sugar 1 Can Cherry Pie Filling
1. Mix Dream Whip as directed. 2. In a separate bowl cream cheese & sugar until smooth. 3. Fold mixture into Dream Whip. 4. Pour over crust, chill until firm. 5. Top with pie filling and refrigerate until serving.

2 Ready Made Graham Crusts 2 Thawed Tubs of 8 oz. Cool Whip 2 (8 oz.) pkg Softened Cream Cheese ½ C. Powdered Sugar 2 Cans Pie Filling
1. Blend cream cheese and and powdered sugar together until creamy. 2. Add cool whip to cream cheese mixture blending well. 3. Spoon filling into graham crusts. 4. Cover and chill. 5. Pour a can of pie filling onto each pie.
This recipe can be adjusted to use fresh fruit, candy bits, assorted ice cream topping etc. Also any type of pie filling is good. This method always comes out firm unlike the Dream Whip recipe which can be soft & messy to serve.. |
