Filling:

10 cups granny smith slices (1 used 1/2 GS & 1/2 Honey Crisp)
2 Tbs lemon juice

3/4 c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1/3 c flour
2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 tsp grated nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp salt

Topping:
2 c brown sugar
2 c flour
1 c oatmeal
1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional. I do not use them, but I'm going to try adding a handful of craisins)
1 c butter, melted

Prepare Filling:
1. Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice and stir to coat
2. In a separate dish combine remaining filling ingredients & stir to mix
3. Pour dry ingredients over apples and stir until apples are well coated
4. Place in baking dish

Prepare Topping:
1. In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, flour & oatmeal; stir to mix
2. Using a fork, mix in the melted butter
3. spread evenly over apples

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 60 minutes
