1 cup of shortening
1/2 Cup of butter
2 Cups of sugar
2 eggs
1 Cup soured milk
5 cups of flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg


To sour the milk add 1 TBSP. of vinegar to milk and let it sit for a few minutes

Directions:

Preheat over to 350 degrees

1. Cream together: shortening, butter, sugar and eggs

2. Sift together: flour, nutmeg, salt and baking powder

3. Add flour mixture to cream mixture: Alternating with one cup soured milk, beginning and ending with the flour.

4. Roll out and cut into shapes

5. bake for 10 mins at preheated 350 degrees

6. HAVE FUN!!!!!
