2 eggs whites
1½ cup granulated sugar
2 tsp light corn syrup or ¼ cup cream of tartar
⅓ cup of cold water
1 tsp salt

Pour all ingredients (except vanilla,) into double boiler. Before heating, beat ½ minute with electric mixer. Cook the mix, while constantly beating with electric mixer, about seven minutes, until mixture forms stiff peaks. Remove from heat and beat two more minutes.
