1 med. sized head Cabbage
Salt and Pepper to taste
4-5 slices of Bread
2 sticks Butter or Margarine
3 tbsp. Flour
2 C. Milk
1 tbsp. Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Shred cabbage. Cook in a large pan of boiling water for 7 minutes; drain. While the cabbage is cooking, make bread crumbs from the bread.

Melt one stick of butter, add crumbs and mix until thoroughly coated. Make cream sauce by melting remaining butter. Add flour, milk, and sugar. When thickened, add cabbage.

Place in a 9” x 13” casserole dish and bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
