2 C. Sugar
2 C. Flour
2 sticks Butter
4 tbsp. Cocoa
1 C. Water
1/2 C. Buttermilk
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Sift sugar and flour together in a large bowl. Mix butter, cocoa, and water in a small pan; bring to a rapid boil.

Pour over flour and sugar mixture; stir well. Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda, and cinnamon; mix well. Pour into a greased and floured 11" x 16" x 2" pan. (Wearever Griddle). Bake 20 minutes at 400º. Make frosting as soon as cake is put into the oven (using the same pan).

1 stick Butter
4 tbsp. Cocoa
6 tbsp. Milk
1 lb. box Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Nuts- chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Melt together, the butter, cocoa, and milk and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and chopped nuts. Beat well with spoon and spread on cake while both are still hot.
