1/3 C Olive oil
2 T sherried (or other) tasty vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Blanch the brussel sprouts in boiling water for 2 minutes. Remove sprouts to a colander and cool with running water. At this point, you can put the sprouts in the frig or go ahead & slice them.
Half the sprouts, slicing them lengthwise. Place cut side down on a cutting board, remove stems and with a very sharp knife, slice the sprout halves crosswise as thin as you can get them. You want a slaw consistency.
Add the nuts & dried berries.
About a half hour before you're ready to serve, mix the dressing ingredients together and pour over the salad. Taste for seasonings. Shave cheese over the top.
