1 1/2 lbs white fish
1 cup small shrimp
1 dozen steamer clams
1 cup chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 tsp salt
1 tsp basil
3/4 tsp thyme
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley or 1 tbsp dried parsley
1/4 cup oil
1 can tomato sauce
1, 28 oz can tomatoes
1/2 cup water
3/4 tsp marjoram
1 tsp dry oregano
1 bay leaf
2 whole cloves
Crab (optional)
Oysters (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fish into tiny chunks - set aside. Saute onion and garlic till tender. Add liquid and seasons all but parsley. Simmer 20-30 min - stir some. Add fish - cook about 10 min. Add scrubbed clams - cook until they open. Just before serving add cooked shrimp and parsley. Adding crab & oysters to the soup is optional.
