1 cup butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
3 cups rolled oats
1 (11 ounce) pkg caramel baking bits
1 cup pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped
course sea salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat butter on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the sugars, 1 tsp salt , the baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the electric mixer, then stir in the remaining flour. Stir in oats, caramel baking bits and pecans
Drop 1 1/2 inch mounds of dough 2 inches apart onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake in a 350 º oven for 11-12 minutes until edges are a very light brown. (cookies will look undercooked) Cool on cookie sheets for 3-4 minutes. Transfer to cooling rack
