Warm in double boiler until hot:
3 cups milk and 1 teaspoon salt

Mix: 1 cup corn meal and 1 cup cold water into hot milk

Stir, again, soon. When thick put in loaf pan which has been rinsed out with cold water. Chill.

Cut mush into slices and brown in frying pan. Serve with syrup.

Salad can be served with this to make a supper meal.
